Jim is a native of Virginia, who resides in Alexandria, VA with his wife Nancy.  Jim’s work is influenced by the beautiful landscapes and nature, with a particular emphasis on The Northeastern United States from Acadia National Park through his home state of Virginia.

Jim’s attention to detail illustrates the beauty that is sometimes missed in a fleeting moment.  It is his hope that others will see what he has enjoyed throughout his lifetime.

He is a self taught photographer who began photographing when he was 12 years old with a film camera.  He has followed the development of technology into the age of Digital Photography.
